Fever

Once again we are in need of your prayers.  This morning around 7:30 Keller showed he had a fever. We don't know what or why but we know his body is having to fight something else, too.  They took blood cultures which means we wait for two days to find out what "bug" he is fighting specifically.  In the meantime they will start him on a broad-spectrum antibiotic to help combat it knowing that in 2 days they may change the antibiotic to target the specific bug.  

Yesterday we thought the biggest issue was him keeping down his feedings and today it's like the wind has gotten knocked out of our sails.  We want to see Norah and need to see her really but we hate to leave him to go to her, and we don't want to bring any germs to him, either.  He will start the antibiotics soon and will get them around the clock through his IV.  We were hoping to go home over the weekend but that's not happening now.  Please join us as we pray that God remove every bit of virus and/or bacteria that is causing him to be sick and his body to work even harder.  Please help us pray that the fever and the cause of it leave quickly.
